Crinkle Vase & Tableware

Crinkle Bag and Tableware: Designed by Makoto Komatsu, this series captures the texture of paper on its surface. The square-shaped plates evoke the lightness of origami, while the rims of the cups faithfully reproduce the texture of paper. Selected pieces from this tableware series have been chosen for the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
