The Crinkle series stands as one of Ceramic Japan's most iconic collections, cherished by customers worldwide. With nearly five decades having passed since the debut of its inaugural piece, Ceramic Japan is also gearing up to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2023. As part of this milestone, we are reintroducing two new sizes of the Crinkle series, originally produced in 1974, thereby enriching the legacy of this beloved collection.

About Artist — Makoto Komatsu 小松 誠
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Makoto Komatsu graduated from the Craft Design Department of the Musashino Art Junior College. He worked in the Craft Design Office of Musashino Art University and was a professor at Musashino Art University in 1999. He won the Exhibition Design Award at the 1st Mino International Ceramics Exhibition in 1986. He has held solo exhibitions in Ikebukuro, Ginza, Yushima, Roppongi and other places in Tokyo. He has also participated in international exhibitions in Japan and over the world, such as the World Modern Ceramic Art Exhibition in Shanghai and the 4th World Ceramic Biennale in Korea.

We will require photos or videos of the damaged items with details to help our team to assessed and process it. If products are misused we will not accept responsibility for any damage caused, please read the instructions of each product carefully.
Exchanges
The exchange only applies if receive the wrong item, and we would cover your shipping cost. We appreciate you sending it back with original packaging, and in new condition with the original tags and/or stickers still attached. Please help us package exchange item well so that they are not damaged during the journey.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
